Muga silk is produced by a silkworm found only in Assam state in India. The silk produced is renowned for its fine, glossy texture and durability. Contrary to previous belief it can be dyed like any other silk. It can be hand washed and its lustre improves with each wash. Often the silk outlasts its owner.
Add some luxury to your spinning projects.
Right now we are offering raw Muga fibre for at least HALF PRICE.
e.g. 30 grams= $6; 100 grams = $15

A slice of sewing history this morning... commonly used in the Victorian home, this third hand clamps to a table while the beak holds the fabric to be sewn. Depressing the tail releases the beak enabling the fabric to be re-positioned or removed! :) Source: makeri.st/sewing-clamps
