Silk Sari ribbon is a by product of the manufacture of India’s beautiful, colourful saris . Two methods are used to create Sari Ribbon. Sari fabric lengths are recycled and torn into strips or waste ends and remnants are collected and joined together to form a continuous length of vibrantly coloured silk ribbon.
Sari Ribbon is ideal for knitting, crocheting, couching, weaving, macrame, wrapping, embellishing felt and other projects, mixed media art work, cushions bags, etc.
No two Sari Ribbon skeins are the same, varying in colour and width.
Price is per 100 gram skein, approximately 50 metres long.
